                   AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND ORDINANCE NO. 6958, AS
                   AMENDED, KNOWN AS THE ZONING ORDINANCE, SO AS
                   TO REZONE A TRACT OF LAND LOCATED IN THE 7400
                   BLOCK OF GOODWIN ROAD, BEING ON THE SOUTHWEST
                   LINE OF GOODWIN ROAD SOUTHEAST OF GUNBARREL
                   ROAD, FROM R-3 RESIDENTIAL ZONE TO RT-1
                   RESIDENTIAL TOWNHOUSE ZONE, R-4 SPECIAL ZONE,
                   AND C-5 NEIGHBORHOOD COMMERCIAL ZONE, SUBJECT
                   TO CERTAIN CONDITIONS.

              	   SECTION 1.  BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
         CITY OF CHATTANOOGA, TENNESSEE, That Ordinance No. 6958, as
         amended, known as the Zoning Ordinance, be and the same is 
hereby
         amended so as to rezone:
               
                A tract of land located at in the 7400 block of
                Goodwin Road, being on the southwest line of
                Goodwin Road southeast of Gunbarrel Road.
               
                Tract 1 (to be zoned C-5):  The southeast 120 feet
                of the northeast 179.5 feet of lots 1 and 2, block
                C, and the northwest 480 feet of the northeast
                179.5 feet of lots 1 and 2, block D, Subdivision of
                a Part of the Northeast and Southeast Quarters of
                Section 11, Township 6 North, or 2 South, Range 3,
                West of the Basis Line, Ocoee District, as shown by
                plat of record in deed book T, volume 27, page 620,
                ROHC; being part of the property described in deed
                book 4552, page 613, ROHC.  Tax Map No. 159A-B-20
                (part).
               
                Tract 2 (to be zoned R-4):  The northwest 150 feet
                of the southeast 453 feet of the northeast 179.5
                feet of lots 1 and 2, block D, Subdivision of a
                Part of the Northeast and Southeast Quarters of
                Section 11, Township 6 North, or 2 South, Range 3,
                West of the Basis Line, Ocoee District, as shown by
                plat of record in deed book T, volume 27, page 620,
                ROHC; being part of the property described in deed
                book 4552, page 613, ROHC.  Tax Map No. 159A-B-20
                (part).
               
                Tract 3 (to be zoned RT-1):  The southeast 120 feet
                of the southwest 33.5 feet of lot 2, block C, the
                southeast 120 feet of lot 3, block C, the southeast
                303 feet of lots 1 and 2, block D, the northwest
                630 feet of the southwest 33.5 feet of lot 2, block
                D, and all of lot 3, block D, Subdivision of a Part
                of the Northeast and Southeast Quarters of Section
                11, Township 6 North, or 2 South, Range 3, West of
                the basis Line, Ocoee District, as shown by plat of
                record in deed book T, volume 27, page 620, ROHC;
                being part of the property described in deed book
                4552, page 613, ROHC.  Tax Map No. 159A-B-20

         from R-3 Residential Zone to RT-1 Residential Townhouse Zone, 
R-4
         Special Zone and C-5 Neighborhood Commercial Zone, as indicated 

         above.
        
              	   SECTION 2.  BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED, That this 
Ordinance
         shall be subject to the following conditions:
        
               1.  Landscape Standards of the Development
                   Corridor Policy;
        
               2.  Dedication of right-of-way along Goodwin for
                   30' from centerline; and
        
               3.  All existing easements are retained.

               	   SECTION 3.  BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED, That this 
Ordinance
         shall take effect two weeks from and after its passage, as
         required by law.
